ABOUT PMP ROCKERS:

Lithuanian hip-hop community definately know the combination of these 3 letters -PMP! It’s the 4 people crew: Pekas, Pro, Vizhas and Mamania. It’s 6 years as this crew is responsible for numerous parties and concerts and all of them were with a hip-hop background. A couple of years ago PMP ROCKERS were probably the only ones to offer regular parties for people that liked and mostly loved this music. Everything from Oldschool hip-hop parties to illegal open air jams, from beatboxing and mc battles to a big events introducing the bands which inspired us very much:

Looptroop (Sweden), Jeru The Damaja (USA), Grammatik (PL), Dj First Rate (ex Scratch Perverts, UK) and ofcourse an amazing Lithuanian hip-hop representatives G&G Sindikatas, Shmekla & Vaiper and Soulstar Soundsystem. These are only some names from a long list of bands and dj’s who have rocked Lithuanian hip-hop stage with the help of PMP ROCKERS work and ideas.

This long 6-7 years time tought us to search for quality and love to the culture we adore so much. Even now, when there are so many events to choose from, PMP are concentrated on big and ofcourse serious events, 2 of them were already awarded as the event of the year at Lithuanian Hip-Hop Awards in 2005 and 2006. There are still so much to reach and ofcourse to share. So don’t sleep and be supportive!
